What’s up? my name’s Andy and I’m a Product Designer based in NYC. I went to Rutgers University - New Brunswick for undergrad and studied Information Technology.
Where am I from? I’ve lived pretty much everywhere. I was born in Oregon, lived in Los Angeles, Nevada, Korea, New York, and go to school in New Jersey. It’s my dream to move back to the west coast one day.
I’m also a guitar geek—I started playing guitar because of Marty Mcfly from Back to the Future. It was the moment of “nerd” fights back that I loved so much.
Why do I design? This is something I ask myself a lot and it's something that I discover more and more as time passes. Right now, I think that design is about creating intentional experiences. Whether that be by creating delightful moments or building useful technology that’ll serve communities, design should be methodical and calculated.
